What is Re-mapping?

Re-mapping is where you take the ECU (Electronic control Unit), where all the vehicle performance characteristics are held and change it. You do this through re-writing the software on the ECU. In non-technical terms, you are customising the ECU software so it's not factory stock.

Could this harm my engine?

We will never re-map a car out with the parameters that it can handle, as we want to maximise the vehicle potential not just go for full power.

How will this affect my vehicle?

The new software will likely change the vehicle performance through changing it's settings. This mostly likely increases the power output of the vehicle and throttle responsiveness, which in turn can increase economy.

Can it be reversed?

Yes, we can remove the re-map and return the vehicle back to the previous software. We do this by keeping a back up of the Original ECU software.
